A little more info
Welcome to our 2024 International Women's Day Challenge: #InspireInclusion
Starting on International Women’s Day on 8 March 2024, we’ll be aiming to walk/run 6,800 miles in just 6 weeks from Inverclyde to the top of the world - Everest Base Camp in Nepal.
Through our challenge, we plan to celebrate International Women’s Day 2024 in a practical way by raising funds to support Greenock-based charity, Aid for Education, which helps some of Rwanda's poorest children and their families who have no access to education, basic medical care or shelter.
100% of all donations will go towards the cost of buying a minibus for our Tubarare Nursery and Primary School which we founded in 2017 in Rwamagana in Eastern Rwanda. Many of the 300 children who now attend the school have to walk a long distance from their homes in the surrounding villages each day, often arriving late to school or not all during the rainy season.
Please join us and help make it easier for the children to make the most of their chance of a good education.
